It was a very nice Award conferring ceremony at Qualcomm Hall on March 19, 2009.

We thank Komen for the Cure, San Diego for providing us the grant to provide education on breast cancer prevention to the Asian and Vietnamese communities in San Diego.

We saw several old time members such as Shannon Carnie and Scripps Cancer Center, Karen Miller from the San Diego County Cancer Navigator, and met new ones such as the UCSD student group and others.

We will move the Asian Pacific Health Center to a new location starting on May 1, 2009.

We will be in the same building and office floor as the San Diego Herald Cancer Center directed by Grace Chu, with whom we have collaborated on several Hepatitis B screenings for the Asian communities in the past few years.

The Asian Pacific Health Center will continue the educational outreaches on the prevention of breast and cervical cancer, liver and colo-rectal cancers for the communities in San Diego.
